Default playing as "full" warrior

im playing guild wars in PVE now for more than one year. i allways play as warrior and now im asking a question;

1: there is many people playing as full warrior (with no secondary skils)

2: it can be good or not?

my question can apply to other professions

btw here is my build.

strenght: 15 (include a superior rune)
sword: 13 (include a superior rune)
tactic: 10

1. thrill of victory
2. zaizhenju strike
3. power attack
4. riposte
5. lion's confort
6. i will survive
7. shield's up
8. endure pain

edit: btw my first post

Warriors function perfectly well without any secondary skills, all you should be running from your secondary is a condition removal, a damage buff (Conjure), or a hard rez.
That builds pretty bad by the way. You should have Swords at 12+1+3(superior rune), and Strength at 8+1 (minor rune).
You need an elite skill for it, such as Dragon Slash, and drop the energy based attacks for adrenaline ones.
You also need a IAS skill such as Frenzy (use it with a cancel stance such as Rush) or Flail.
Healing Signet is better than Lion's Comfort, and Riposte, Endure Pain and I Will Survive are pretty bad. Shields Up is just decent in PvE.
Try something along the lines of:
[skill]sever artery[/skill][skill]gash[/skill][skill]sun and moon slash[/skill][skill]dragon slash[/skill][skill]flail[/skill][skill]rush[/skill][skill]"watch yourself!"[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
Watch Yourself can be dropped for Save Yourselves.

About the only things you need as a Warrior from your secondary class might be Plague Touch, Mending Touch, or Conjure Flame/Frost/Lightning. With the exception possibly of Farming builds, general purpose builds function the best when they have very few or no secondary class skills thrown in. Warriors are self-sufficient. Generally speaking, if you can't get it from a Warrior skill, you either don't need it or your heroes/henchmen can do it better.

Don't run two Superior runes, its bad for your health. Pick one Superior and use minors for the rest, or two majors + 1 minor. Two Superiors is -150 health. While I've never been an advocate of having tons of hp, -150hp is suicide, and such a terrible skill as Endure Pain should never be a necessity.

The info ibreaktoilets gave is great, follow that.

If you are a solo PvE player using heroes use whatever skills u think is fun to play cause no one will care. due to the advent of pinging bars and heroes most people stopped getting human players because of builds like yours. Why? because it is just terrible and people rather get skilled AIs.

1: there is many people playing as full warrior (with no secondary skils)
Some play as full but alot of people like to fool around with secondary skills.
2: it can be good or not?
you will just get through the game very slowly or your henchmans are doing most of the job for you.

Ibreak's advice is good. However, I notice you're running double superior runes, which is a really bad idea. The tiny increase in damage you gain from +2 strength is vastly outweighed by the loss of defense from -75 health. For a warrior, always have your weapon mastery as high as you can get it, strength isn't so critical.

If more Warriors realised they didn't have to use secondary skills, the Warrior profession would probably get nerfed by Anet for being too powerful

Seriously though, there isn't any reason to run more than ~2 secondary skills on your bar at one time.

Defense = Lion's Comfort. Rest of the bar is for rez and killing stuff.Drop "SU!", EP (which is a very bad skill), Riposte, and "IWS!", throw in better attacks, an IAS, a good utility skill such as condition removal, and you'll be much better.

Warriors don't need a second profession for the most part. Sometimes I'll use Plague Touch or Parasitic Bond on my warrior, but that's about it.

Pure warriors are fine. I'd rather have an axe/str pure warrior than some weirdo with secondary skills but no damage and/or tanking ability.

I'd even go as far as to say a pure warrior is superiour to a hybrid. But there's a lot of ifs and buts there so I'm not gonna >.>

I'd only go Sword for Dragon Slash and "Save Yourselves", otherwise an Axe lands a deep wound much better and hits more enemies at the same time. Getting buffed by conjures (now "unfortunately" less effective) and/or weapon spells makes it a more preferrable choice in my opinion.

Don't forget 2 Paragons, 2 Eles, 1 Curses in your team, for more offtopicness. :>

The only time I'm not full warrior is when I bring [skill]enduring harmony[/skill] along for when I feel like spamming D-slash and SY to play in god mode

Full warrior is pretty good. I have been having fun with
[skill]Endure Pain[/skill][skill]Defy Pain[/skill]

I usually have more luck going with take aggro first then let monks heal me back up. this allows me concentrate more on staying alive first than having to find a target. That might not make much sense.

Better idea - get backliners that don't suck, so you can take skills that don't suck.

Endure and Defy are both really horrible skills. If you need them, it's because you've got shit monks.

All depends, also I was messing around with those skills, also the back liners don't suck I was flagging my heros/hench of to the side while I grabbed full aggro of a wammo lvl. Just was having fun seeing how many I can grab and not die. But I do agree with you they are not rreally good skills at all.
